This spacious oceanfront home is situated on a bluff overlooking Sooke Basin, on 4.5 acres of unmatched natural beauty, luxury, and total privacy. The house is a short 5 minutes drive from the famous East Sooke Provincial Marine Park, 15 minutes to downtown Sooke, and 25 to 30 minutes to Victoria and major attractions.

Anderson Cove House features panoramic views of the waters of the Sooke Basin from wrap-around view decks, and a deluxe 8 person hot tub. The expansive lawns are perfect for family games, or just lying around and watching the deer, eagles, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Sooke Basin provides an ideal water playground at your doorstep, for popular activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and crabbing, and the private dock makes water access especially convenient for the guests.

The 3600 sq. ft house has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms that include a huge masters suite. The interior comforts of the house include a living room and family room (with cable TV, DVD player and VCR), a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, a dining room and separate breakfast area, that both comfortably seat 10 people. Also laundry facilities, and a games room with foosball, and a selection of games, puzzles, movies and music CD’s.

The main floor features an entry area with soaring ceilings.The living room, dining room, and kitchen have access to wrap-around decks with panoramic views of Sooke Basin. There is a bathroom on the main floor as well.

The upper floor features 3 bedrooms, including a spacious master bedroom and ensuite with a queen size bed, another with twin beds,and one with a queen size. There is a kingsize bed in the bedroom on the lower floor, and another bathroom. The main floor bedroom has a single bed, and is close the main bathroom.

The lower floor also has a laundry room, family room with cable TV and VCR and the games room with foosball. For cool evenings, the house features a wood burning stove with glass front in the family room.

Finally, you will enjoy full access to your own dock, expansive lawns and a large hot tub.

Enjoy nearby East Sooke Park with panoramic views of Juan de Fuca Strait, and the breathtaking Olympic Mountains beyond, a perfect setting for an unforgettable vacation.

This has been one of the most memorable times in our lives. The estate is beautiful (especially the view). I could not think of a more romantic place to have spent our honeymoon.
I would definitely suggest the drive into Victoria to check out the tourist shops. Butchart Gardens is more than worth the drive.

Terms of Stay

Policies

• High Season - June 11 to September 18,
• Shoulder Season - April 1 to June 10, September 19 to October 30. plus Christmas/ New Year.
• Low Season - November 1 to December 23, January 3 to March 31.
• Low Season Multi-week rates are available, please phone or e-mail.
• Two night minimum in shoulder and low seasons.
• Three night minimum in high season, check availability calendar.
• Three night minimum on long weekends in shoulder and low seasons.
• Rates are based on 6 guests, $20 Cdn. for each additional guest.
• No smoking indoors.
• A $500 CAN, security deposit is required for vacation bookings, $750.00CAN deposit for weddings or large groups.
• Cleaning fee of $150.00, mid-stay cleaning available on request.
• All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars, and are subject to applicable taxes · 6% GST
• The 6% GST is refundable to Non-Canadian Visitors, we have the application form URL.
• We welcome children at Anderson Cove House; as in all natural environments, children should be supervised.
• Weddings are welcome, there is a $200.00/day charge for large groups, more guests than beds, eg: receptions etc.
• High Speed Internet $3.00/ day, $20.00/ week, $70.00/ month

Pets

Deposit

• 10% if booking for next year.
• 50% on booking otherwise.
• Balance due two weeks before arrival date.

Cancellation Policy

• Sufficient notice of 45 days - Full refund less $50 administration fee.
• Less than 45 days notice for - Loss of deposit if we are not able to re-book.
• No refunds will be made for unused days or early departures.

Check-In/Out Times

• Check-In: 4:00 pm, unless otherwise arranged.
• Check-Out: 11:00 am, unless otherwise arranged.
